The Circle's first exhibition had a long run in the West Country at Pecorama, near Seaton and before that at Scotland's Railway Ehibition at Bo'ness, and before that at York's prestigious national railway Museum.
The theme of the exhibition (entitled "Catching the Phoenix") was "The Human Element". It aimed to capture the relationship between railways, it's staff, customers and spectators. Locations featured were truly global, ranging from Myanmar, Poland, North America and switzerland to the Forth Bridge.
