HST 43043 changes crews at Derby whilst working the 0925 St Pancras-Sheffield. March 11 2002. Im interested in portraying the real railway at work and I often try to capture scenes like these.

The moment of train crew relief well caught, but on a very overcast day which doesn't help. Nor does the rather large areas of cloud and platform, which could perhaps be cropped off.

Not clear what's happening here (Ian Cowley)

Most of the interest lies in the middle third of the picture which is full of interest. I think I’d prefer it with some of the top and base removed. (David Flitcroft)

The man bending over his case does this picture no good. (Martin Higginson)

Well timed but compostionally, if possible, I'd prefer to see horizontal format with the full Midland Mainline wording leading the eye to the train crew (Jonathan Cordle)
