Nice shot of IOW Ryde Pier but somehow the lighting isn't right. No light on the train but the lighting around the 2 figures is spot on. ON the other hand perhaps the way the train merges, almost, into the landscape, is what you were after. Hmmmm. (Bob Avery)

Excellent against the light shot with great atmosphere. (Ian Cowley)

A fine moody shot with the interest well placed on opposite thirds. (David Flitcroft)

Wonderful atmosphere, composition spot-on. I love the strong placing of the figures and the brightly-lit track gives the perfect lead in to the picture. Superb work (Geoff Dowling)

It must have taken a long time for an electric unit to get so filthy in the clean air of the Isle of Wight. As a picture, this doesn’t quite hang together. The people are looking out of the picture, especially the one apparently about to dive overboard. (Martin Higginson)

Good picture in awkward light lifted by the silhouetted figures. (Jonathan Cordle)
