Acle down platform 10 June 1997
Mamiya C330F+65mm on Kodak Tri-X

"Acle railway station - not the most obvious place for lunch! A pause between trains, a railway bear for company - seemed harmless enough. He's gone from the window now - caught the train home. But the picture remains, no train was required!"

Interesting picture. Well seen, but not altogether sure whether it works as a railway picture. The railway scene and the "human" are not quite close enough to be connected (Bob Avery)

Just great. (Ian Cowley)

Yes I like it. It made me smile which is a plus indeed. (David Flitcroft)

There is always room for humour in any hobby, this is a well-seen example - enjoy! (Geoff Dowling)

An essential picture for a family exhibition. I wish the bear could be bigger and more prominent, without losing the compositional structure and evidence (in the signage) of the ‘railway’. (Martin Higginson)

How novel and well observed. Works well. I've walked past this spot dozens of times and never seen it like this! (Jonathan Cordle)
